Thank you all. Thank you so much. Thank you. Thank you all very much. You know, I always feel welcome at Miami-Dade College. This is a place that welcomes everyone with their hearts set on the future – a place where hope leads to achievement, and striving leads to success. For all of us, it is just the place to be in the campaign that begins today. We are 17 months from the time for choosing. The stakes for Americas future are about as great as they come. Our prosperity and our security are in the balance. So is opportunity, in this nation where every life matters and everyone has the right to rise.Aly, the choice is taking shape. The party now in the White House is planning a no-suspense primary, for a no-change election. To hold onto power. To slog on with the same agenda under another name: Thats our opponents call to action this time around. Thats all theyve got left. And you and I know that America deserves better. They have offered a progressive agenda that includes everything but progress. They are responsible for the slowest economic recovery ever, the biggest debt increases ever, a massive tax increase on the middle class, the relentless buildup of the regulatory state, and the swift, mindless drawdown of a military that was generations in the making.I, for one, am not eager to see what another four years would look like under that kind of leadership. The presidency should not be passed on from one liberal to the next. So, heres what it comes down to. Our country is on a very bad course. And the question is: What are we going to do about it?The question for me is: What am I going to do about it?And I have decided.I am a candidate for President of the ed States of America. We will take command of our future once again in this country. We will lift our sights again, make opportunity common again, get events in the world moving our way again. We will take Washington – the static capital of this dynamic country – and turn it out of the business of causing problems. And we will get back on the side of free enterprise and free people.I know we can fix this because Ive done it.Here, in this great and diverse state that looks so much like America. So many challenges could be overcome if we just get this economy growing at full strength. There is not a reason in the world why we cannot grow at a rate of four percent a year. And that will be my goal as President – four percent growth, and the 19 million new jobs that come with it.Economic growth that makes a difference for hard-working men and women – who dont need a reminding that the economy is more than the stock market.Growth that lifts up the middle class – all the families who havent had a raise in 15 years. Growth that makes a difference for everyone. Its possible. It can be done.We made Florida number one in job creation and number one in small business creation. 1.3 million new jobs, 4.4 percent growth, higher family income, eight balanced budgets, and tax cuts eight years in a row that saved our people and businesses 19 billion dollars. All this plus a bond upgrade to Triple-A compared to the sorry downgrade of Americas credit in these years. That was the commitment, and that is the record that turned this state around.I also used my veto power to protect our taxpayers from needless spending. And if I am elected President, Ill show Congress how thats done.Leaders have to think big, and weve got a tax code filled with small-time thinking and self-interested politics. What swarms of lobbyists have done, we can undo with a vastly simpler system – clearing out special favors for the few reducing rates for all.201508/390851。

Hi, Im Senator Cory Gardner, and Im proud to represent the great state of Colorado in the ed States Senate. For decades, the ed States and our allies like Japan and South Korea have faced a complex threat in North Korea. And while the Obama Administration has rightfully focused attention on developments in the Middle East, for too long it has turned a blind eye to the North Korean threat. A rogue regime headed by a leader with no respect for human dignity, North Koreas Forgotten Maniac – Kim Jong-Un – has been met with indifference instead of resolve. Its time to reverse this Administrations failed policy of strategic patience. Recent headlines confirm this. North Korea has conducted four nuclear tests, three of which occurred during the Obama Administration. Earlier this month, North Korea launched a long-range rocket. We know that the regime is expanding its nuclear stockpile and its capabilities are growing. North Korea may aly possess as many as 20 nuclear warheads, with the potential to gain as many as 100 within the next five years. Furthermore, our military experts have warned that the situation on the Korean Peninsula may be at its most unstable point in over sixty years. They believe that North Korea has the ability to miniaturize an atomic weapon and place it on a rocket that has the ability to reach the homeland. North Koreas illicit behavior doesnt stop with its proliferation activities. The regime has intensified its cyberwarfare as evidenced by its attacks on South Koreas financial systems and the hack of Sony Pictures here in the ed States. North Korea also has a long history of horrific human rights abuses and continues to maintain a vast network of political prison camps. We can no longer stand idly by as North Korea builds an arsenal of mass destruction, grows its cyber capabilities, and tortures as many as 200,000 of its own men, women, and children. We must apply the pressure required to change the Forgotten Maniacs pattern of belligerent behavior that endangers the globe. Thats why the Senate in an overwhelming bipartisan vote, recently passed my North Korea Sanctions and Policy Enhancement Act. My bill is a tough rebuke of Kim Jung Un and a dramatic change in U.S. policy toward North Korea. It imposes mandatory sanctions on individuals who contribute to North Koreas nuclear and ballistic missile program, its malicious cyber-attacks, its censorship activities, and the regimes continued human rights abuses. It also mandates that the Administration develop a comprehensive strategy to address the regimes human rights abuses and cyber activities. The goal of this bill is simple: to quell North Koreas aggression, peacefully disarm the regime, and restore human rights. During his final State of the Union address, President Obama acknowledged that our foreign policy must be focused on the threat from ISIL and al Qaeda, but it cant stop there. And I couldnt agree more with that statement. Its time for the ed States to lead. We must set an example and send a message to the rest of the world that America will not tolerate patterns of belligerence – a message that America will lead.201602/428438。

Hi, everybody. It was five years ago this week that a financial crisis on Wall Street sp to Main Street, and very nearly turned a recession into a depression.5年前的本周华尔街金融危机蔓延至中产阶级的经济危机,而这场危机差点将衰退变成萧条。In a matter of months, millions of Americans were robbed of their jobs,在短短几个月的时间里,数百万美国人失去了工作,their homes, their savings-after a decade in which theyd aly been working harder and harder to just get by. It was a crisis from which were still trying to recover. But thanks to the grit and determination of the American people, we are steadily recovering. Over the past three and a half years, our businesses have created seven and a half million new jobs. Our housing market is healing. Weve become less dependent on foreign oil. Health care costs are growing at the slowest rate in 50 years. And in just over a week, millions of Americans without health care will be able to get covered for less than 0 a month. So our economy is gaining traction. And were finally tackling threats to middle-class prosperity that Washington neglected for far too long. But as any middle-class family listening right now knows, weve got a long way to go to get to where we need to be. And after five years spent digging out of crisis, the last thing we need is for Washington to manufacture another. But thats what will happen in the next few weeks if Congress doesnt meet two deadlines. First: the most basic Constitutional duty Congress has is passing a budget. But if it doesnt pass one before September 30th-a week from Monday-the government will shut down. And so will many services the American people expect. Military personnel, including those deployed overseas, wont get their paychecks on time. Federal loans for rural communities, small business owners, and new home buyers will be frozen. Critical research into life-saving discoveries and renewable energy will be immediately halted. All of this will be prevented if Congress just passes a budget. Second: Congress must authorize the Treasury to pay Americas bills. This is done with a simple, usually routine vote to raise whats called the debt ceiling. Since the 1950s, Congress has always passed it, and every President has signed it-Democrats and Republicans, including President Reagan. And if this Congress doesnt do it within the next few weeks, the ed States will default on its obligations and put our entire economy at risk. This is important: raising the debt ceiling is not the same as approving more spending. It lets us pay for what Congress aly spent. It doesnt cost a dime, or add a penny to our deficit. In fact, right now, our deficits are aly falling at the fastest rate since the end of World War II. And by the end of this year, well have cut our deficits by more than half since I took office. But reducing our deficits and debt isnt even what the current standoff in Congress is about. Now, Democrats and some reasonable Republicans are willing to raise the debt ceiling and pass a sensible budget-one that cuts spending on what we dont need so we can invest in what we do. And I want to work with those Democrats and Republicans on a better bargain for the middle class. But theres also a faction on the far right of the Republican party whove convinced their leadership to threaten a government shutdown if they cant shut off the Affordable Care Act. Some are actually willing to plunge America into default if they cant defund the Affordable Care Act. Think about that. Theyd actually plunge this country back into recession-all to deny the basic security of health care to millions of Americans. Well, thats not happening. And they know its not happening. The ed States of America is not a deadbeat nation. We are a compassionate nation. We are the worlds bedrock investment. And doing anything to threaten that is the height of irresponsibility. Thats why I will not negotiate over the full faith and credit of the ed States. I will not allow anyone to harm this countrys reputation, or threaten to inflict economic pain on millions of our own people, just to make an ideological point. So, we are running out of time to fix this. But we could fix it tomorrow. Both houses of Congress can take a simple vote to pay our bills on time, then work together to pass a budget on time. Then we can declare an end to governing by crisis and govern responsibly, by putting our focus back where it should always be-on creating new jobs, growing our economy, and expanding opportunity not just for ourselves, but for future generations. Thank you. 201309/258160。

But when hundreds of thousands of Chinese started showing up in my country, working hard on the railroads and the mines and then kicking back in the evening just like they had in the old country, with a few puffs on that opium pipe, thats when you saw the first drug prohibition laws in California and Nevada, thats when you saw the first drug prohibition laws in California and Nevada, 但是,当成千上万的中国人开始出现在我的国家,在铁路和矿山上卖力工,然后晚上放松一下,就像他们在故乡常做的那样,吸上几口大烟,这就是你所见到的第一条禁毒法令出现在加利福尼亚州和内华达州,driven by racist fears of Chinese transforming white women into opium-addicted sex slaves. The first cocaine prohibition laws, similarly prompted,by racist fears of black men sniffing that white powder, and forgetting their proper place in Southern society. And the first marijuana prohibition laws, all about fears of Mexican migrants in the West and the Southwest. And what was true in my country,is true in so many others as well, with both the origins of these laws and their implementation. Put it this way,and I exaggerate only slightly: 换句话说,让我稍稍夸大一点,If the principal smokers of cocaine were affluent older white men and the principal consumers of Viagra were poor young black men, then smokable cocaine would be easy to get with a prescription from your doctor, and selling Viagra would get you five to 10 years behind bars. I used to be a professor teaching about this. Now Im an activist, a human rights activist, and what drives me is my shame at living in an otherwise great nation, that has less than five percent of the worlds population, but almost 25 percent of the worlds incarcerated population. Its the people I meet who have lost someone they love to drug-related violence or prison,or overdose or AIDS. because our drug policies emphasize criminalization over health. Its good people who have lost their jobs, their homes, their freedom, even their children to the state, not because they hurt anyone but solely because they chose to use one drug instead of another. So is legalization the answer? On that, Im torn:关于这一点,我非常为难:three days a week I think yes, three days a week I think no,and on Sundays Im agnostic. But since today is Tuesday, let me just say that legally regulating and taxing most of the drugs that are now criminalized, would radically reduce the crime, violence, corruption and black markets, and the problems of adulterated and unregulated drugs, and improve public safety, and allow taxpayer resources to be developed to more useful purposes. I mean, look, the markets in marijuana, cocaine, heroin and methamphetamine are global commodities markets just like the global markets in alcohol, tobacco, coffee, sugar, and so many other things. Where there is a demand, there will be a supply. Knock out one source and another inevitably emerges. 201503/363074。

I want to update you about what the Government is doing to make our country as safe and secure as possible. Events in Syria, Iraq and elsewhere and the rise of violent extremism have reminded us that our country is not isolated from potential threats. We’ve all seen the horrific images: the beheadings, the crucifixions and the mass executions. Appallingly, at least 60 Australians are known to be fighting with terrorist groups in Syria and Iraq and about 100 Australians are known to be funding or facilitating these groups. So the threat to our country from extremists is real and it’s growing. But the Government is responding. We are committing an additional 0 million over four years to Counter-Terrorism measures. More resources are going to the Australian Federal Police, to the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation, to the Australian Secret Intelligence Service, the Office of National Assessments and the Customs and Border Protection Service. Biometric screening is being installed at all our international airports. Border force counter-terrorism units are aly working at Sydney and Melbourne Airports – and will soon be rolled out at other international airports. These units will help to monitor national security watchlists. New national security laws will strengthen our ability to arrest and jail returning foreign fighters – and prevent extremists from departing Australia. And we are strengthening our community engagement programmes to prevent young Australians from becoming involved with extremist groups. I want to stress that these efforts are not directed against any particular community or religion; they’re against terrorists and potential terrorists. In an increasingly uncertain world, this Government is determined to keep our people safe and our country secure.201504/369437。

Prince Charles has some similarities with Nicole Kidman. They have similar sound of eyes. So you relate people that you wouldnt relate,当你将一些毫无相关的人联系起来时,and you can actually also create concerts by looking at the audience faces. So I connect the eye, and then I play the audiences faces. The good thing about this is,这么做的好处是,if the concert doesnt sound good, its their fault. Its not my fault, because—这不是我的错,原因你知道的—And so another thing that happens is that I started having this secondary effect that normal sounds started to become color. I heard a telephone tone, and it felt green because it sounded just like the color green. The B beeps, they sound turquoise, B and listening to Mozart became a yellow experience,的哔声,它们是蓝绿色的,还有听莫扎特的歌成了一场黄色的体验,so I started to paint music and paint peoples voices,所以我开始给音乐和人们的声音上色,because peoples voices have frequencies that I relate to color. And heres some music translated into color. For example, Mozart, Queen of the Night, looks like this. Very yellow and very colorful,很绚黄,很多,because theres many different frequencies. And this is a completely different song. Its Justin Biebers Baby.这是Justin Bieber的Baby。It is very pink and very yellow. So, also voices, I can transform speeches into color,还有声音,我能把演讲也变成颜色,for example, these are two very well-known speeches. One of them is Martin Luther Kings I Have A Dream,一个是马丁路德金的我有一个梦想,and the other one is Hitler. 201508/394435。

Good afternoon, everyone. It is my privilege to welcome you to this landmark gathering – the first U.S.-ASEAN Summit hosted by the ed States. This reflects my personal commitment, and the national commitment of the ed States, to a strong and enduring partnership with your 10 nations individually and to Southeast Asia as one region, as one community – ASEAN.I want to thank my co-chair, President Choummaly of Laos; Secretary General Minh; and leaders from all 10 ASEAN nations for being here.As everyone knows, I first came to know the people and the beauty and the strength of Southeast Asia as a boy when I lived in Indonesia for several years with my mother. As President, Ive had the opportunity to visit most of your countries. You and the people of ASEAN have always shown me extraordinary hospitality, and I hope we can reciprocate with the warmth today and tomorrow – which is why I did not hold this summit in Washington. It is cold there. Its snowing. So, welcome to beautiful, warm Sunnylands. As President, Ive insisted that even as the ed States confronts urgent threats around the world, our foreign policy also has to seize on new opportunities. And few regions present more opportunity to the 21st century than the Asia Pacific. Thats why, early in my presidency, I decided that the ed States, as a Pacific nation, would rebalance our foreign policy and play a larger and long-term role in the Asia Pacific. And this has included engagement with Southeast Asia and ASEAN, which is central to the regions peace and prosperity, and to our shared goal of building a regional order where all nations play by the same rules. As part of our deeper engagement, Im proud to be the first U.S. President to meet with leaders of all 10 ASEAN countries. This summit marks our seventh meeting. At your invitation, the ed States joined the East Asia Summit, and together weve made it the regions leading forum for addressing political and security challenges. Ive made now seven visits to the ASEAN region – more than any previous American President. At our last meeting in Kuala Lumpur, we forged a new Strategic Partnership. And our sustained engagement is delivering concrete results that benefit all of us – momentum that we can build on here at this summit.Together, we can continue to increase the trade and economic partnerships that create jobs and opportunity for our people. Since I took office, weve boosted trade between the ed States and ASEAN by 55 percent. The region is now our fourth largest goods trading partner, including U.S. exports that support more than 500,000 American jobs. U.S companies have been the largest source of foreign investment in ASEAN – one of the many reasons that the regions GDP has surged in recent years, lifting people from poverty into the middle class.201603/428725。
